10 Shocking Claims of Reincarnation
Here’s a list of 10 stories of reincarnation existence:
1. WWII Fighter Pilot Reborn
When your child in his sleep screams common things like “The bike is going too fast!” that would appear normal if he loves cycling. But what if your child screams out, “Plane on fire! Little man can’t get out!” during recurring nightmares? Of course any parent would be concerned. And so were the parents of James Leininger considering that the boy had just started learning how to speak.
His parents further claimed that little James started revealing extraordinary details about the life of a former fighter pilot known as James Huston. He also seemed to be well informed about the kinds of WWII aircraft used. One time when his mum referred to an object at the bottom of a toy plane as a bomb, the toddler disagreed and said it was a drop tank. Another time James claimed that in his previous life, he still was called James and he flew off a ship named Natoma. Upon research, his parents found out that there indeed existed a WWII aircraft known as the USS Natoma Bay which in its troop was a pilot by the name James Huston, who died in action over the Pacific.
2. Transferred Birth Marks
It is tradition in various parts of Asia that upon the death of a person, the corpse is marked by his relatives with soot so that his soul reincarnates within the same family. Such mark is considered a birthmark and evidence of rebirth of the soul.
In Myanmar, a boy was believed to be the reincarnation of his grandfather when he was born bearing a rarest birthmark on his left arm similar to the one where his deceased grandfather’s had been marked.
3. The Story of Phil Collins
Yes you read it right! Even celebrities do believe in reincarnation. According to Phil, he believes he is the reincarnation of a Mexican. Phil met a psychic in Texas on a trip some few years ago who managed to talk him into believing that he was the reincarnation of an Alamo survivor. Since then he- Phil – has been researching on the Alamo survivor and somehow believing it. He is also in the process of collecting artifacts from the battle.
4. The Patient Who Killed And Married Her Son
We’ve certainly heard of past-life regression therapy which is now taking root in various parts of the world. According to Brian Weiss, a trained psychiatrist who now leads in past life regression therapy, he has been able to tap in to some past lives of his patients.
Among them was a patient named Diane who during one of the regression sessions, experienced the life of a young settler in North America during the early years of conflict with Native Americans. She talked about a time when she was hiding from a hunting party with her child. This child she said had a half moon shaped birthmark underneath his right shoulder. At the hideout, the child started crying out. Fearing for their lives, she accidentally stifled her son by covering his mouth.
Sometime later after the session, Diane was attracted to a patient admitted for asthma attacks. The patient also claimed to have felt an attraction towards Diane. Interestingly, the patient had the same birth mark as the child from the session and was located at the same place. Diane and the patient eventually got married.
5. Sibling Reincarnation
The famous artist Salvador Dali grew up believing he was the reincarnation of his deceased brother who died 9 months prior to Salvador’s birth. This means that the artist’s brother-also named Salvador- died upon conception of the famous Salvador.
At the age of five, the artist and his parents visited his brother’s grave whereupon he was told that he was his brother’s reincarnation. That notion got to his head that he once in a while inserted images of his late brother in his art work and wrote that he underwent immense pressure of living his life as well as that of his brother.
6. Marilyn Monroe Reincarnated
It’s not Britney Spears this time, neither is it any female person. Chris Vicens, a shop assistant is very sure that he is Marilyn’s reincarnation. According to him, he has learned a lot about Marilyn Monroe during regression therapy. In an interview he once said, “When I first awoke from my session and the therapist told me who I’d said I was, I thought: No, that’s not possible — what are the odds of that happening? Each time I regress, I learn a little more.
7. Jesus Reincarnated
Claiming to be Marilyn Monroe’s reincarnation is quite ok. But claiming to be Jesus’ reincarnation may seem to be something else we don’t want to talk about here. The claimant in this case is actually a former traffic officer from Russia. Sergey Anatolyevitch Torop lost his job in 1989. He claims to have been reborn thereafter as “Vissarion,” the returned Jesus Christ.
8. Anne Frank Reincarnated
