People in Winterset, Iowa decided to honor the famous resident Marion Robert Morrison (though most people know him as John Wayne). The actor’s statue, which is about 7 feet in height, is located outside the museum devoted to him. The John Wayne Museum has a large area that contains a huge collection of memorabilia from Morrison’s movie career and personal life. The statue was presented at the John Wayne Birthday Celebration in 2010 and was donated to Winterset by the actor’s family.

To touch the hands of Nicolas Cage, you will have to scuba dive in the waters of Poseidon’s Playground on Alabama’s Gulf Coast. The actor’s hands are set into the offshore diving reef called the Reefs of Fame area. The idea to leave the actor’s handprints in the reef came about after Nicolas Cage played a role in the USS Indianapolis film.
